Signal Hill, CA – In a mystical land far, far away, the quirky Grow-A-Head™ family will be busting out from the latest “underground rock” with the birth of the Turf Trolls and Turf Trolls “Rockers” in April 2008.  Showcasing at the 2008 International Toy Fair in New York, Feb. 17-20, the Turf Trolls includes Stumpy, Rooty, Rocky and Prissy while the Rockers gang includes Flippy, Gropey and Grungy!

Turf Trolls are enchanted little creatures that love to hide and are tough to find.  In spite of their bejeweled belly buttons, they blend perfectly into the grassy fields using their specially evolved turf-y hair!  The edgier “Rockers” Trolls are hardcore and tough creatures—even harder to hunt down if they don’t want to be found.  There will be limited edition styles perfect for the thousands of dedicated Troll collectors.  Trolls from both collections feature their names tattooed on their bottoms!

Each Troll comes complete with a “seeded head,” instructions, and educational facts about photosynthesis and plant growth.  Troll fanatics and gift-recipients just need to soak the head, water it from the top like a typical houseplant, use the included plastic container as a greenhouse, and then watch their mystical friends come to life.
