        Boston, MA – Perfect Curve Inc., a leader in designing and marketing unique consumer storage and organizational products, is extending its collection farther into the home with the introduction of a new line of $5 and $10 “over-the-door” products.  Launching at the 2008 International Home + Housewares Show, March 16-18, at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, the new BagRack9, BagRack18, Scarf + Belt Rack18, Scarf + Belt Rack36, CapRack9, and CapRack18 are more affordable for consumers and perfect for storing, organizing and displaying beloved baseball caps, gorgeous handbags, fancy belts and scarves, and keeps these often-rotated accessories in order.

        As handbags have gained in popularity, price and size, the need for efficient, protective organizers has become essential.  Perfect Curve has the answer to keeping those precious handbags intact while on display and quickly within reach!  The BagRack9 is perfect for storing, organizing and showing off those sometimes pricey handbags.  It hangs snuggly over both residential (1.50”) and commercial (1.75”) doors or can be attached to a wall.  Its heavy-duty strap is adjustable to fit different door heights from 72” to 82” and its nine individual hooks can be adjusted up and down the strap to accommodate different sized bags.  And because no assembly is required, setting it up is a cinch! 

        For those true bag fanatics, Perfect Curve also offers the BagRack18, which includes two straps, each with nine adjustable hooks.  With two straps you can place them both behind the same door or split them up between two different rooms.  The BagRack9 has a suggested retail price of $5.00, while the BagRack18 has a suggested retail price of $10.00.

         “We designed the patent-pending BagRack because every other bag rack we found on the market was designed and packaged poorly or was low quality,” explains Gregg Myles Levin, president of Perfect Curve, Inc.  “The numerous features and benefits that our BagRack offers are in a class by themselves.  With my fiancée, big-sister and mother as part of our test market, once they approved our design, I knew we had something great, and for less than $10, it’s an incredible value.  The Scarf + Belt Rack is a similar remedy to other products on the market.”  

        The Perfect Curve Scarf + Belt Rack is available in two styles - the single-strap Scarf + Belt Rack18 for $5 and the double-strap Scarf + Belt Rack36 for $10.  Each easily and conveniently stores scarves and belts of all kinds.  Both versions can be placed over the door or attached directly to a wall and require no assembly. 

        “The adjustable clips that come with the Scarf + Belt Rack were designed specifically for lighter weight items, whereas the BagRack clips can hold heavier items.  We were able to design two hooks on each of the adjustable clips so it could hold more items,” adds Levin.

        Continuing the legacy which started in 1999 with the introduction of its first cap rack system comes the $5 CapRack9 and the $10 CapRack18.  The CapRack9 stores, displays and organizes up to nine baseball caps and/or visors to keep them fresh, well-shaped and neatly organized.  The CapRack18 comes with two straps and holds up to 18 caps and/or visors.  Similar to the BagRack and Scarf + Belt Rack, both the CapRack9 and CapRack18 can hang over the back of a door, attach to a wall, fit multiple sized doors and come pre-assembled. 


        “Our new CapRack is intended to be an easy and inexpensive way to simply get your “cap-clutter” off the floor and out of the way.  It’s also great for visors, which are still very popular and it also doubles as a proud show piece for your favorite caps,” explains Levin. 

        Along with the introduction of these items, Perfect Curve will also debut its new tri-lingual (English/Spanish/French (Canadian), “slant box” packaging and aisle displays at the Housewares Show.  Designed to convey a “family” of products, the items make a strong visual impact in the aisle while taking up minimal space. 

        “Our retail customers are looking for multiple SKU’s that help encourage multiple sales.  We thought it was important to make a strong statement and so that’s why we added six new items this year.  With these unique high-quality items that are well designed, manufactured and packaged, we feel we’re making it easy for the retailer to add them to their merchandise mix,” adds Levin.
