Wage Arctic Warfare
with the new Halo R/C Arctic Collection from NKOK
NKOK expands its
popular Halo R/C Vehicle Collection with their new Arctic Warfare Collection of
full-function Remote Controlled Vehicles.
City of Industry,
CA – NKOK, producers of the successful collection of Halo R/C Vehicles
proudly debuts its new line of authentic Halo®
Remote Control Vehicles utilizing Arctic Camouflage.
The Arctic Collection will include the M12
Warthog LRV, M274 Mongoose Ultra-Light ATV, and the AV-14 Hornet Airborne
Assault Vehicle. Like the original collection, the new Arctic Collection will
put collectors and fans into the action with the Master Chief as they recreate
the skirmishes from snowy locales like Avalanche or Snowbound.
The Arctic Warthog R/C car comes with a Master Chief sporting Mjolnir
Mark VI armor and Red Spartan figurine. The rear-mounted M41 Light
Anti-Aircraft Gun turret is fully moveable and has a place to position one of
the figurines. With a top speed of approx. 7 MPH, the Arctic Warthog
is the fastest R/C vehicle in the collection. It receives signals at 27 MHz and
is powered by a total of six AA batteries; four for the Warthog itself, and two
for the controller. The Arctic Warthog
will be available at an MSRP of $24.99.
The Arctic Mongoose is a faithful
representation of the ATV used by the UNSC forces in Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST
featuring the Arctic Warfare Camo. Also included with the Mongoose is a Master Chief
figurine. A top speed of approx. 6 MPH and receiving at 49 MHz will provide
entertaining races with the Warthog. The Mongoose takes six batteries; four for
the Mongoose itself and two for the remote control. It will be available this
summer at an MSRP of $24.99.
First seen in Halo 3, the AV-14 Attack VTOL Arctic Hornet is an
indoor flying helicopter, lifted by a pair of coaxial rotors. It features
stability and precision speed control. The transmitter utilizes tri-band infrared technology, which
will actually allow three hornets to fly in the same room at the same time.
The remote control is powered by six AA batteries and the Hornet itself runs on
a rechargeable Li-Poly battery. Available with the rest of the Arctic Warfare
Collection this summer, the Hornet will be offered at an MSRP of $39.99.
The Halo R/C Vehicles will be available late in July 2010 for purchase
in the US
exclusively at Toys R Us, GameStop, Kmart Stores, and specialty retailers
through Diamond Comic Distribution. They will also be available for purchase
online at www.gamestop.com, www.toysrus.com and www.target.com.
