Wallables Is Introducing Its New Soy-Based Collection & Exciting New Licensed 3D Wall Decor at the 2009 ABC Kids Expo
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Hot Buttered Elves, Inc., the designer and manufacturer of the patented Wallables™ 3D sculpted wall décor, announced that it is going green with the introduction of its new soy-based Wallables at the ABC Kids Expo September 13 – 16, 2009, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Through a partnership with The Dow Chemical Company (Dow), Wallables has incorporated Dow’s soy-based polyurethane (PU) into the toys’ proprietary foam formulation. The formulation is made with RENUVA™ Renewable Resource Technology, a breakthrough process developed by Dow scientists to enable the use of renewable raw materials and deliver distinctive performance attributes in the final application. As a result, the material used in the new line of Wallables replaces a percentage of petroleum-based ingredients with bio-based, renewable content and offers increased durability. The toys can withstand more “hugging,” “poking,” and “squeezing” and are sure to please parents who care how their kids’ toys are manufactured.
