The M808 Scorpion Battle Tank is the workhorse of the UNSC vehicles. Armed with a 90mm High Velocity Cannon and M247 Machine Gun, the Scorpion is more than a formidable match for any Covenant vehicle at any range. When the UNSC Marines need to pack a punch on the ground, they hit hard with the Scorpion Battle Tank.
Controlled by tri-band infrared technology, the full-function Scorpion Battle Tank R/C keeps the battle intense with its laser tag feature that can be played with two or three opponents, making for exciting skirmishes.
With two or three Scorpion Battle Tanks, players can point and aim the Scorpion’s turret to target their opponent’s tank, and shoot an infrared beam. As the tank is hit, the remote control will sound an explosive hit and the tank will display an indicator light. After the 4th hit, the tank will recoil and become disabled until it is reset for play to resume.
The Scorpion Battle Tanks feature working lights that can set the battlefield for night-time warfare. The authentic cannon and engine sounds that come from the speaker on the multifunction remote adds to the layer of immersion already there.
Powered by six AA batteries and a 9-V battery for the remote (Batteries included with the twin pack), the Scorpions hit hard and make for intense laser tag matches. The Scorpion Battle Tanks will come in either a package of two or a single tank. The Twin-Set will come at an MSRP of $69.99 while the Single-Set comes at an MSRP of $34.99. They will be available at Gamestop and Toys-R-Us starting in late September.
